TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

All individuals attending the Ervin Ranch High Desert Horse Sale do so at their own risk. Employees and consultants of the sale, including Samantha Ervin, assume no responsibility, legal or otherwise, for any accidents, injuries, or damages to persons or horses during drop off and time at Ervin Ranch before reaching there new home. 

Ervin Ranch and Samantha Ervin act only as agents to the seller. The purchaser assumes all responsibility and risk of injury to the horse once the auction ends. 

Ervin Ranch and Samantha Ervin make no guarantees regarding the possibility of herd health risks associated with any horse. Buyers and consignors should be aware of any such risks and be willing to accept them. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of information on consigned horses. Auction management is not responsible for errors or omissions and assumes no liability for any statements made about the sale horses. No guarantees are applied to any horse.

Ervin Ranch and Samantha Ervin reserve the right to refuse the sale of any horse deemed unmarketable. All Consignment Fees are non- refundable 

Horses should be dropped off with a halter and lead, and no horses may be removed until payment has been received in full upon completion of the sale. Horses may remain at Ervin Ranch for up to three days after the sale before board and feed fees are applied to the new owner. A care fee of $20 per day will be billed to the new owner for feed and board. 

Buyers may go to the website and contact the shipper we have on file. 

In the event that a buyer fails to pay for or accept a horse, the consignor agrees to accept the same price from another buyer, put the horse up for sale a second time, or receive the horse back as unsold.


To register to bid, Its a two part registration you must first create an account then register again to bid. We do not run your card, this is just for confirmation purposes. Thank you. Happy bidding. 


Purchasing a Horse on Auction: The Process
If you've recently participated in an auction and bought a horse, here's what to expect next:

  • You will receive an email with details about the horse you purchased, as well as the purchase price.
  • In the same email, you will receive payment information.

Be sure to check your inbox on the evening after the auction has closed, or by noon CST the following day.
